Call2Teams Trunks interoperability

The Call2Teams platform provides the ability for customers to select from a range of templates for various Trunk configurations, pre-configured for existing vendors. 

SIP Trunk validation is available in 3 levels:

Vendor accredited interoperability

The SIP Trunk services have been validated by the vendor for interoperability

 

Partner tested interoperability
The SIP Trunks services have been validated by accredited vendor partners for interoperability with involvement from Call2Teams engineering

Community validated interoperability
The SIP Trunks services are in general used by Call2Teams partners & customers without reported problems

 

Generally, a Trunk service that can support regular registration-based authentication will work with Call2Teams, so this list is not exhaustive.

Note: Trunk services that rely entirely on a unique IP address for each customer will not yet work with the multitenant platform of Call2Teams. Supporting this capability is under development.

Call2Teams Trunks interoperability

A testing checklist is available for partners and vendors to follow for verifying the interoperability between Call2Teams and a SIP Trunk platform.

This is normally conducted by the vendor or their partner since they have the equipment/account resources and the intimate knowledge of the SIP Trunk config.

Call2Teams provide assistance by providing Call2Teams accounts, guidance for set up of the test environment and joint engineering/investigation of any issues.

Following the successful testing process, the vendor or partner completes a Trunk template request form, outlining fields that should be hidden/locked/editable by customers. It is also beneficial for the partner/vendor to provide set-up document to be stored in the template as a customer help resource.

Call2Teams enabled us to deliver a great calling experience to our Office 365 Teams users without compromising on our current call management tools.
