Call2Teams PBX interoperability
The Call2Teams platform provides the ability for customers to select from a range of templates for various PBX & Trunk configurations, pre-configured for existing vendors.
PBX validation is available in 3 levels:
Vendor accredited interoperability
The platforms have been validated by the vendor for interoperability
Partner tested interoperability
The platforms have been validated by accredited vendor partners for interoperability with involvement from Call2Teams engineering
Community validated interoperability
The platforms are in general use by Call2Teams partners & customers without reported problems
Generally, a PBX that can support a generic SIP phone will work with Call2Teams so this list is not exhaustive.
Validating PBX vendors
A testing checklist is available for partners and vendors to follow for verifying the interoperability between Call2Teams and a PBX platform. This is normally conducted by the vendor or their partner since they have the equipment/account resources and the intimate knowledge of the PBX.
Call2Teams provide assistance by providing Call2Teams accounts, guidance for set up of the test environment and joint engineering/investigation of any issues.
Following the successful testing process, the vendor or partner completes a PBX template request form, outlining fields that should be hidden/locked/editable by customers. It is also beneficial for the partner/vendor to provide set-up document to be stored in the template as a customer help resource.
